I’m so thankful to now be working at Eagle Hill School in Hardwick, MA. I’m the new Director of Communications and Marketing, and it’s an exciting post. I’ve got big shoes to fill.

I posted a few more pictures to Flickr. They were shot RAW, and I did some more experimenting with “developing” them than I usually do. The “digital darkroom” aspect of RAW photography is a blast.

The reader for 396A is almost finished. Thank goodness. I’ve never tried to push a PDF so far.

I’m still hoping to do some writing about Critical Realist pedagogy. Especially as it pertains to instructional design (or at least the context in which such design happens.) I’m having some trouble finding the essential reading that will get me started. I’m also hoping to do a redesign of this site soon, spurred especially by my acquisition of CSSEdit. What a brilliant piece of software.

It’s been a while. I’m going to resurrect this site with what I hope will be a series of posts about the topic of critical realism and its implications for pedagogy and instructional design in particular. I will probably be reconfiguring this site soon, too (unless I decide to start a proper blog elsewhere.)
